This book, written by the lawyer who defended them, reveals the gripping, true story behind the couple's heartrending decision not to evacuate and their persecution at the hands of the government sworn to protect them. The moving photo featured on the front was taken outside the nursing home by a photojournalist once the flood waters had subsided.
